Richard Bellwood is an independent management consultant. Prior to his retirement from the Canadian federal government, he was a Senior Advisor of the Contingency Planning and Audit Division, at Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Canada (PSEPC). As a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), he had worked as Senior Disaster Recovery Analyst and as a Project Manager of Business Continuity Planning since 1994. Mr. Bellwood’s major accomplishments were the design and implementation of several Canadian federal governments’ nation-wide Business Continuity policies, plans, programs, and Disaster Recovery Planning exercise test scripts. In a similar capacity, he also worked for a private sector consulting company in the Washington, DC area as a Project Manager/ Contingency Planner providing consultant services in the field of business continuity/disaster recovery and information security to a wide range of industries including healthcare, insurance, finance, and manufacturing companies. Mr. Bellwood is also a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) and teaches the CISSP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK) Review Seminar, on behalf of the International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) to students throughout the world. He has been a guest speaker at the several conferences in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Additionally, Mr. Bellwood is also a Member Business Continuity Institute (MBCI) awarded from the Business Continuity Institute of Caversham UK. Kevin Henry has been involved in computers since 1976 when he was an operator on the largest minicomputer system in Canada at the time. Ken Jaworski joined Compuware Corporation, in August 2001. Until recently Ken functioned as a Project Manager in Professional Services where he was responsible for a variety of assignments in both the public and private sectors. In overall, Alexei has over twenty years of IT experience, including information system development, implementation and maintenance. The last 13 years he works in the field of IT risk management, information security consulting, IT audit, advisory and due diligence projects for a wide range of clients representing all major industries and sectors in CIS and abroad.
Alexei is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) and a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and Information Systems Security Association (ISSA).
Also he is a founder and a Vice-President of International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC)² Affiliated Local Interest Group (ALIG) named Russian Information Systems Security Professionals Association (RISSPA.org).
Alexei worked for Ernst & Young, KPMG, UNISYS, Merisel-CAT Ltd.
